| The greatest Dressage Sire of all time, with progeny winnings of over 1.3 million Euros. Sire of 48 licensed sons, with a BV for dressage of 154. His sons include Don Gregory, Don Primero, De Niro, Don Bosco,Donnerschwee, Dream of Glory, Davignon, Donnerball, Donnerschlag,Duntroon, Don Kennedy, Don Frederico. Blue Hors Don Schufro, currently competing Grand Prix and is 2005 number 1 FN current dressage sire with a BV of 178. In 1994, Donnerhall was individual bronze medallist and team Gold medallist at the 1994 World Championships. Donnerhall won the European World Cup Freestyle League final standings twice, in 1997 and 1998. He retired from competition in 1998. | Before Akzent II came to Ludwig Kathmann's in Oldenburg in 1985, he gained a great reputation in Hanover as a private stallion. 1988 he was the sire of the most successful Hanoverian dressage horse - Amazonas 1989 His son, Aczidos was placed 4th in the Federal Championships of riding horses and top priced lot of the Verden sales (DM 130,000). In 1991 Love Story II was champion mare in Oldenburg along with Adios, Dressage champion at the Federal Championships in Munich. Akzent II was regarded as one of the best producers of rideablity in modern day horse breeding. He is also the dam's sire of stallions, De Niro and Dimension and grandsire of Abanos. His progeny include: Atachi, top priced lot of the Verden sales (DM 210,000) and Alabaster, most expensive young stallion of the Oldenburg approval in 1991. |

| Donnerwetter, started his International Dressage career in Belgium using the name Descartes. He was then bought by Grönwohldhof stud where he was competed by Herbert Rehbein. In 1990 Gronwoldhof sold Donnerwetter to Windsome Farm in Virginia, USA, where he was available for stud to a select group of mares until his death. Donnerwetter has five licensed sons and five registered State Premium Mares. His dam's sire, Matador, is also the dam's sire of the Celle stallions, Wenzel I and Wenzel II. His great grandsire, Der Löwe xx, is probably the most important thoroughbred sire in post-war German riding horse breeding. |
