| Als hochveranlagter, moderner Dressur-Nachwuchshengst, lackschwarz im großen Aufriss, ausgestattet mit drei erstklassigen Grundgangarten und einem hervorragendem Interieur, so präsentiert sich Don Ricoss! Seinen 30-Tage-Test absolvierte er mit der höchsten Berwertung im Teilindex Dressur (8,84) unter 30 Prüflingen im Herbst 2005 in Neustadt-Dosse. Auch in turniersportlicher Hinsicht hat er bislang eine Bilderbuchkarriere hinter sich. So konnte er sich 3, 4 u. 5-jährig für das Bundeschampionat in Warendorf qualifizieren und war zudem im Jahre 2007 für die Weltmeisterschaft der jungen Dressurpferde in Verden nominiert. Mehere Siege und Platzierungen in Reitpferdeprüfungen und Dressurpferdeprüfungen der Klassen A + L mit Traumnoten, u. a. beim international besetzten Turnier in Elmlohe, untermaurern sein erstlkassiges Talent. Seine ersten Fohlenjahrgänge präsentieren sich überwiegend in dunkler Jacke, mit drei sehr guten Grundgangerten ausgestattet und außergewöhnlich viel Schick! Auf Fohlenschauen im Lande, sowie auf der Kreisfohlenschauen in Tarmstedt hinterließen seine Nachkommen durch mehrere Klassensiege und vordere Platzierungen auf dem qualitätvollen Endring einen hervorragenden Eindruck. Sein Vater Don Frederico war Körsieger seines Jahrgangs, mehrfach hoch platziert beim Bundeschampionat und hat inzwischen zahlreiche S-Dressuren gewonnen. Muttervater Weltmeyer hat ganze Generationen hannoverscher Dressurpferdezucht geprägt. Die Großmutter St.Pr.St. Erina brachte mit Warkant den gekörtem Hengst Wallstreet Kid (USA) und dessen Vollschwester Windsor Queen, die ihrerseits in Will Be (v. Wittinger) und dem Körseiger, sowie Bundeschampion Londonderry zwei bis S-Dressur gekörte Söhne stellte, von denen letzterer ausgsprochene Wertschätzung als Vererber genießt. |

| Don Ricoss is a modern young dressage stallion, equipped with three first-class paces and an outstanding character & attitude to work. He was Champion of the 30 day test at Neustadt- Dosse with a dressage index of 8.84 He has had an excellent competition career to date, being Vice Champion 3yr old Hanoverian Stallion at Verden & also qualifying for the Bundeschampionat as a 3, 4 and 5-year-old. In 2007 he was nominated for the World Championships. His first class talent have given him several wins & high placings in A& L classes with excellent scores including at the International Competition in Elmlohe. His first foals have shown to have inherited his elegance & 3 very good paces & have been very successful at foal shows in Germany taking Champion & Vice Champion titles, as well as several top placings. Grand Dam State Premium Erina, by Hanoverian Stallion of 1999 Eiger I, produced the licensed dressage stallion Wallstreet Kid (by Warkant, USA) and his full sister Windsor Queen, who is the dam of Advanced level licensed dressage stallions Will Be (by Wittinger) and the Licensing and Bundeschampionat Champion Londonderry.The latter is currently considered to be a foundation sire. Another Erina grandaughter Lawalda (Lauries Crusador xx/ Warnet) was sold at the 2006 Elite Verden Foal Auction for 65.000 Euros. This dam line, is grounded in the Holsteiner Family 8116, also produced the licensed stallion Amoural (Pb, Rhineland Pfalz-Saar) and Dante Alighieri (AUT). |

| Don Ricoss has had a brilliant start to his competition career in 2005 winning 4 times at some of Germany's largest competitions for young horses as well as qualifying for the 2005 Bundeschampionat. 1st - 3 year old class, Verden RV Aller Weser e.V 22/05/05 Score :8.3 1st - 3 year old class, Sottrum 11/06/05, Score : 8.8 1st - 3 year old Hanoverian stallion class, Verden 2/7/05 Score : 8.4 Vice Champion 3 year old Hanoverian Stallion Championships 3/7/05 Verden, Score : 8.4 1st - 3 year old class, Elmlohe 30/07/05, Score : 8.8 Champion of the 3 year olds and the highest mark of all 3 and 4 year olds also with 8.8!!! H is scores included 9.0 trot, 9.5 canter, 8.5 Walk, 8.5 Suppleness, 9.0 Rideability Don Ricoss is trained by Eckhard Wahlers in conjunction with Hans Heinrich Meyer Zu Strohen. Isobel Bache who put in the stunning performance at the 2005 Bundeschampionate on the 5 year old mare Funny Girl to win second place with 9.0 has agreed to ride Don Ricoss for the 2006 competition season. Isobel who is based at Holga Finken's stables will ride him competitively from January 2006, starting with his first competition of the year at the CDN in Verden. 30 Day Test Champion - Neusdadt DosseDon Ricoss was the winner of the dressage section of his 30 Day Test at Neustadt-Dosse in 2005. He was the ONLY 3 year old to get marks of greater than 9.0 for both trot and canter, out of 309 3 year olds tested in 2005. Test riders scores: Trot 9.25 Canter 9.75 Walk 8.0 His average scores were: Trot 9.13 Canter 9.38 Walk 8 Rideability 8.75 Interieur 8.75 Overall Dressage score:8.83 The first foals by Don Ricoss were born in Germany in 2006 and his first UK foals were born in 2007.
